After traveling to the U.S. & discovering the beauty of Seattle, he decided to stay & began working in the restaurant business. A resident of Magnolia, he wanted to capture the essence of an Italian town he loved back in Sicily right here in his own back yard. Ristorante Mondello was created. With its bright blue walls, sand-like floors & sea shell decor, this was like home away from home. Corino's mother, Enza, also ventured out to Seattle, to lend a helping hand in the kitchen. Mamma Enza, as she is affectionately known, has been cooking for years, making everything from scratch with only the freshest ingredients.
